Read a proposal

You see each suggested edit beside its explanation. You can identify proposed removals by the red strikethrough, proposed additions by the green text. You can read the comments without opening each card. Click a card, its review button, the red text, or the comment count beside the text; you will see the suggested additions and the Accept and Reject buttons. Click elsewhere in your draft to hide the additions; your original text will still have a strikethrough.

Review one proposal, accept it, then reject another.

Pending edits in the comment gutter beside the draft

Accept or reject

Click a comment card and choose Accept or Reject. If you accept, you keep the additions and remove the struck text; if you reject, you keep your original text. You also close the comment thread with either choice; you can reopen it to continue the discussion. Use Accept all or Reject all to review every pending edit in your current tab. Your other tabs will be unchanged.
The Accept all and Reject all controls above pending suggestions
Reply on the comment to ask for a different edit on the same thread. Choose Dismiss when you are done with the discussion; any edit you have not accepted is discarded. If you leave feedback on a passage that already has a comment, you add it to that thread. You can keep writing while an edit is pending. Text you add inside a suggestion is saved, and you keep it if you reject the suggestion. If you edit the same passage in another app, you may remove the pending edit; its comment will still be visible so you can ask for a new suggestion.

Copy proposed text

Click Copy proposed text on the comment card, or select the green text and copy it. When you paste it into your draft, you get plain text without the suggestion marks.

See text written by the agent

Turn on Highlight AI-written text to see the wording you accepted from the agent. You can turn the highlight off at any time; your file will be unchanged. If you replace some of that wording, the text you type is no longer marked as AI-written.

Undo

Press Command or Control and Z to undo your last action. You can undo typing, accepting, or rejecting an edit; if you accepted or rejected all edits at once, you can restore them all with one undo. After you accept an edit, you will see a brief highlight where you accepted the change. If you mute the agent, its comment cards are hidden and the red text is faint. You still need to accept or reject its pending edits.
